MANAGEMENT

Users will be able to manage the list of Machine SIM by themselves, view details and the status of Machine SIMs, and also control the Machine SIM connections permitted by MNOs core network.

Users will be able to perform functions like importing MSIMs without number into subsystems to manage inventory, export the MSIM list under any specialized requirement. This group of features helps to classify and manage the Machine SIM for vertical industries and serves multiple purposes. Users can also manage SIM numbers and display a list of SIM numbers of the SIM inventory.

DATA PLANS

Allow Telco/MNO to create the data plans that meet any requirement from Enterprise customers. These might be plans that are dedicated to vertical industries like Transportation, Healthcare, Energy and Factory or plans for specialized customers who have specific requirements for data, speed, bandwidth, SMS, and voice.

The Data plans are created with many options that not only follow customers’ requirements but also strictly follow the internal processes from Telco/MNO for lifecycle, period and the approval process.

SYSTEM FEATURES

MSIM provides many system features resulting from in-depth integration of the Telco/MNO core network to provide enhanced functions to customers including:

• Managing and customizing alarms settings relating to SIM status change or SIM billing, viewing detailed information and creating, editing or activating an alarm.

• MSIM diagnostics: Keeping customers in the loop by alerting them to any connection problems so that they can fix any basic errors without Telco/MNO support.

• APN registration: With permission from Telco/MNO, this feature is very flexible and allows customers to select an APN (Access Point Name). Customers can choose it, send it, and get approval from Telco/MNO.

SELF-CARE

Customers are able to manage, monitor the Machine SIM status and monthly bills, themselves. Monitoring features include a usage chart that shows Machine SIM status, the number of Machine SIMs that have lost connection or number of locked Machine SIMs. Other charts display data usage and the number of SMSs, and calls made from the Machine SIM in the last 10 days. In addition, MSIMs also help customers to get quick view of data packages, the current packages of the system to help users select the right package for their needs.

REPORTING

The MSIM subsystem provides many kinds of reports to facilitate the end-to-end operation of an entire lifecycle of MSIMs and orders. These reports let Telco/MNO know exactly what is going on for easily planning and business operations. MSIM reports include not only historical data but also realtime information. We don’t just give you a summary, we provide in-depth analytical information. We can categorize information under many criteria such as provision status, customer, billing, order, date, utility, revenue, and many more. MSIM reports also provide the API - application programming interface allowing customers to integrate the report data into any system they choose.

MSIM also provides a variety of other useful features. These features include managing, setting roles and permissions to different groups of users, managing customer information and customer on-boarding. Features also include expertise from Telco/MNO for the SIM’s entire lifecycle. In the next version, VNPT Technology will build up advanced components for Telco/MNO core network for machines like virtual IN, virtual HLR and virtual billing. This will give Telco/MNO the capability to manage the machine world.
